Workshops and studios

Students have access to quality facilities across all of our Schools and Dance Studies Programme. Faculty facilities are available to students from all programmes, with the aim of promoting interdisciplinary interaction and maximising creative output.

Woodwork and metalwork workshops are based in both the Architecture and Planning Building and the Mondrian Building at Elam. Elam is also home to our foundry, which is heavily used by the mold-making students.

Studio spaces

At the Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries, students thrive as a result of our studio-based learning techniques across the faculty. Dance Studies students have specialist studios in which to learn, imagine and rehearse. For students working in printmaking, painting and photography, Elam has well-equipped areas to support their processes. Architecture and Planning students enjoy ample room for creativity in their shared study spaces, similar to many open plan offices within the industry.
