Dance Studies Programme
The Dance Studies programme at the University of Auckland is highly regarded in New Zealand and internationally as a centre of research and practice. You will work with leading professionals to advance your choreographic and performance techniques, broaden your understanding of dance history and the place of dance in contemporary culture, and gain the skills to pursue a sustainable career in a diverse range of dance-related fields.
The programme is unique in its approach to the impact of dance on communities. To ‘move your thinking’ is to value your own body, mind and culture and examine what is relevant in diverse artistic and community contexts. It’s about activating spaces, mobilising your thinking and inspiring others. Follow @moveyourthinking on Instagram and join the conversation.
