Take a tour of Elam

Tours of Elam are available for prospective students, teachers, parents and anyone else who’s interested in what we do. You will be able to chat about our programmes and visit our studios, library (the best fine arts library in New Zealand), gallery spaces, workshops (wood, metal, print), spray booth, state-of-the-art HD suite, digital hub and dark rooms.  

Elam is situated at The University of Auckland’s City Campus, so while you're there you can also check out other facilities such as the Recreation Centre, banks, cafés, Shadows Bar and other hubs of student life.

All tours meet at 20 Whitaker Place, outside projectspace B431, ground floor Main Fine Arts building.

Parking is available under the Owen G. Glenn Building, Grafton Road

Undergraduate tours
Undergraduate tours run every Thursday at 1pm, from 5 May to 6 October.

Postgraduate tours
Available the first Wednesday of every month at 1pm, 1 June to 2 November.
