The Lab - NICAI Faculty Computing Laboratories

The Faculty's computing labs are located in rooms 521, 523 and 526, on level 5 of 26 Symonds St (building 421) on the City Campus. The NICAI Helpdesk is available from 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday during semester. Holiday hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. After-hours access (up to 11pm) is provided through a proximity card system and, subject to certain conditions, is available to all students in the Faculty.

The labs support both Macintosh and Windows operating systems; together with a wide variety of software. Document scanning, black & white and colour printing and photocopying equipment is available. All lab systems provide internet access through a service run by the University’s central information technology services. Printing and internet services are run on a user pays basis. Access to all services is given via Netlogin.
