National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries
iSPACE
iSPACE is a great place for international students to get to know each other, gather information and attend organised activities and workshops. It offers comfortable indoor and outdoor areas where you can relax, meet friends, study and have a meal or snack.
At iSPACE, you can attend regular workshops and information sessions to help you adjust to life in New Zealand – and enjoy all the activities that Auckland has to offer. We also hold regular social and cultural events to help you make friends. During Orientation we run wine tasting, ethnic food and games evenings. And there's always a large selection of international magazines on hand to keep you in touch with your own country.
iSPACE is located on Level 4 of the Kate Edger building on the City Campus.
Become an iSPACE MATE
After you have been at the University for at least a semester, you can volunteer to become an iSPACE MATE.
As an iSPACE MATE, you will have a special role, helping to welcome students from around the world during Orientation and at events throughout the University year.
Apply to become an iSPACE MATE by completing the iSPACE MATE Questionnaire.
