Overview

The Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) is a performance-centred programme that will deepen your knowledge and sharpen your skills as an outstanding musician.

You will focus on the production and presentation of exceptional performances that are firmly grounded in research. You will also prepare a supporting analysis of texts on a subject closely related to your performance specialisation.

Advanced performance practice and instrumental studies ensure that as a graduate, you can perform and teach at an internationally recognised level.

For more detail, please see the University Calendar, held in the University Library; or you can purchase one from the University Bookshop or view online.
