Overview
The Master of Creative and Performing Arts (MCPA) combines conceptual and practical work. It provides high-level technical training in sound recording and design, and will give you an in-depth appreciation of the importance of recorded sound in society and the arts.
You will be expected to write a dissertation or thesis in an area of interest relating to sound recording and design. You may also have the opportunity to take up a placement in the sound industry, working alongside experienced professionals.
Graduates from this programme often go on to careers in audio post-production and music recording for international record labels.
