Speaking Out is a wonderful opportunity for LGBTI students to meet role models and hear their stories, and is a collaborative project between all eight Faculties within the University.
The event, open to all students and staff, is a panel discussion with four prominent members of the LGBTI community, who will talk about their lives, their chosen careers and any challenges they have faced along the way. There will also be an opportunity for students to submit questions to the panel. Following the event, there will be a mix and mingle, where students can meet the four panellists, along with representatives from other areas such as Health and Counselling, Accommodation, International Office, Equity and the NZAIDS Foundation.
