Campus Cards

The University of Auckland introduced the Campus Card at the start of the year. All students new to the University of Auckland were issued with the Campus Card prior to the start of Semester One.

The Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries is to transition all remaining students (with the exception of those completing their programme of study in 2018) to the Campus Card.

The benefits of having a Campus Card are:

·         One card for ID and door access

·         No cost to you in replacing your old cards with a new Campus Card (normally $20.00)

·         Be ready for new services that the Campus Card Office will be rolling out from Semester 1 2019 onwards, including discounted dining on campus

For all students who are eligible for a Campus Card, cards will be available for collection from the Creative Arts and Industries (CAI) Student Centre from Wednesday 29 August. Students will be sent a text when their cards have been received by the Student Centre.

The Card Office will begin printing cards from Monday 27 August, from that point access to Library services, photocopying etc. will not be available via your old ID card (for those we are printing a Campus Card for). So there may be a 2-3 day period where you don’t have this access – please plan for this.

Access to buildings via your current access card, will cease after seven days of the Campus Card being produced, so please ensure you collect your Campus Card from the Student Centre within the timeframe.

Those students who were not eligible for a Campus card (who did not provide an up-to-date photo), can request a Campus Card, by visiting AskAuckland Central in Alfred Nathan House. There will be a $20.00 fee to do this.
