Dr Lucille Holmes is a writer and researcher on visual art, education and psychoanalysis on which she has authored articles in academic and professional journals, and has presented papers at academic and professional institutions.

  • Issues of the communication, application and development of psychoanalytic theory in the visual arts and art education
  • Her current research activities focus on Lacan’s explorations of art and the creative process, and the history and use of specific psychoanalytic theories in art
